The Organic Excellence of Canino

Our Canino estate represents a perfect balance between tradition and innovation in olive cultivation, located in one of the most renowned areas of Tuscia for extra virgin olive oil production. Here, on a total of 4.5 hectares, we cultivate olive groves dedicated to two of the region’s most valued cultivars: Canino and Maurino. Our commitment to organic farming is reflected in every stage of the production process, ensuring a final product of superior quality, authenticity, and environmental respect.

The estate is divided into two distinct plots. The first, named CAN1, hosts 303 trees spread over 1.7 hectares. In this grove, we cultivate two monocultivars: Canino and Maurino. Both varieties are known for their exceptional adaptability to the land and their contribution to creating an oil with a fruity and harmonious flavor, featuring well-balanced peppery and bitter notes. The entire production is certified organic, ensuring that every stage of the process, from cultivation to harvesting, adheres to environmental regulations and excludes the use of synthetic chemicals.

The second plot extends over 2.8 hectares and hosts 453 trees of the same two monocultivars: Canino and Maurino. This larger area allows for a broader production while maintaining the same rigorous standards of quality and sustainability that define our estate. The olives harvested from this plot contribute to producing an oil that best expresses the unique characteristics of the Canino area: a product with an intense flavor and an organoleptic profile that celebrates the richness of the soil and the mild climate of Tuscia.
